Thank you to everyone who left me comments and love. It means more to me than you could ever possibly know.
I must say I think I've handled it quite well. I skipped work for an entire week. The fact that I was also dreadfully sick factored in to my not going (I'll spare you the details, and say "female" problems). So for the whole week I didn't leave my bed, and never woke up before 4 or 5 in the afternoon.
And burst into tears every ten to fifteen minutes.
So basically I was nuts.
But so far this week I seem to be doing much better. I've, like, actually left my house and stuff. And gone to work. And talked to Lucas. Who seems to be doing fine (of course). And our conversations have been normal.
Annyywaayyy
My parents and I usually spend Christmas eve with my grandparents, but since my grandpa broke his hip a few weeks back they've decided not to do Christmas this year. No gifts, dinner or anything like that. So we're just staying home. Which I'm fine with -- I really am not in a Christmas mood this year. I wasn't before anyway. The Lucas thing didn't help. And I haven't been able to get a hold of any of my friends (namely Jessie) so I'm just kind of in a pissy funk.
I do have the 24th-26th off and the 31st-2nd off, so that's nice. I think I'm spending New Year's in Springfield with old friends, since my friend Ryan moved home from New Orleans. That might be nice.
This came out way more depressing than I meant it to.
(OH OH!! I just thought of cheery stuff!! My mom bought me a coat for christmas!! So for the first time in, like, three or four years I'll have an actual winter coat and not a hoodie.
Also my loan money for school disburses tomorrow, so I'll get a $2000 refund check in the mail within the next week. Yay! There's your motherfucking cheer.)
Merry Christmas.
Love, me.
