I warn you now, most of this will probably not have any kind of linear thought pattern. Unless I come back to it and edit later. So deal with it.
I've spent approximately $1500 in the past week. Financial aid is the awesome.
Jeans, Victoria's Secret, a DVD player, a digital camera last night, $260 on books for school, $425 toward my car, more clothes. I bought 9 or 10 CDs as well. I think the Wicker Park soundtrack and Nekromantix are my favourite out of the bunch so far. I wanted Horrorpops actually, but NOBODY around here has it, so I got the Nekromantix as a compromise.
School goes well so far. I actually missed classes this morning.
I always worry when I miss classes during the first week of class, for it does not bode well for the rest of the quarter. But I only got two hours of sleep the night before and damnit I was fucking tired.
Russian is by far my fave (of course, one of the classes I missed today -- I will have to catch up on the Russian alphabet on my own now...
). Definitely going to be a great class. But of course Latin and my Greek historians class are taught by two of my favourite professors, so they will be wonderful no matter what. The historians class is taught by professor Laforse who basically just cusses at everyone and rants about Bush all the time. He also throws a fair amount of Yiddish into the lectures. It's an odd combination with Greek. The man is a genius. And a bit crazy as well. And Latin is taught by my beloved British professor Anderson, so he just says "jolly good" all the time.
Finally had that date Wednesday night.
We saw "Garden State." First of all, EXCELLENT movie. I always hated Natalie Portman, and damnit if I don't love her to death now. Zach Braff is just an amazing writer and director. And the soundtrack was wonderful, and of course I can't find that anywhere around here either. Damnit.
The date was excellent as well. That's why I was up so late the other night cause I stayed out too late, then had to come home and stay up until 6 a to the m finishing all my damned homework. Totally worth it though. And we're doing something tonight after he gets off work.
Hopefully I'm getting a new tattoo (or two?) as soon as my mother pays me back. (I love how everytime I get money she takes it from me, and I can't say no because I get screamed at and guilt-tripped if I do.) But I'm definitely getting another piercing or two.
Someday I should learn to save my money instead of spending it. I'll save my next batch of financial aid money damnit. Right now I just want to buy shit.
Anyway. I'll stop now. If you read all of this I'm so so sorry. Have a good weekend everyone!

Is it sad that just laying around doing homework with him leaves me perfectly content?
Or that I find it cute that he insists we listen to the BBC when we're falling asleep?
I am such a dweeb.
