I have money. From the government. And it's mine. Alllllllll mine.
Naturally I had to use some of it to buy books. Flipping through my books during dinner tonight I discovered I can no longer understand Latin at all -- I am slightly (read: immensely) worried. But I am so fucking excited about Russian. It does look like it'll be harder than I originally anticipated though, so maybe I won't get to teach myself Hebrew this quarter. I just need to stop learning.
After the books, I went shopping. For stuff I wanted. I still have no new jeans though. Because I've apparently lost weight and shrunk again. And I couldn't be arsed to deal with anymore changing rooms after about an hour. So I'll do that tomorrow. After I buy CDs. And a DVD player (finally, I join civilised society). And maybe the digital camera too. The money's going quick.
Tomorrow night I'm doing dinner with my Jessie. I haven't seen her in two or three weeks. I don't know how we keep doing crap like this. And now that she's got a boy around, I fear it will happen more.
I just saw a commercial on TV for Xfest, which totally reminds me that I need to buy Jessie and my's (horrible grammar, I know) tickets. Now that I have money I can actually do that. Maybe we'll skip class and make a whole day of it.
In other exciting news, I got asked out on a date.
I was smiling like a retarded little kid when he asked me. I'm intrigued to see whether it'll pan out, or if he's just trying to make himself look good in light of, um, previous exploits.
He's a decent guy though, so I have faith.
Wow, faith in a guy. And I'm not even drunk!
I'm doing so much better than I was earlier this week.
I'm still moody and pissy and generally unpleasant, but I've decided that the one problem I need to focus on is not something I'm ready to seek therapy for, even though I know I should. So I'm just going to do my best to work it out on my own. And if I can't, then I'll see Dr. "Lay on the couch and tell me your problems. Excellent, that's $500 please." Man.
Peace love & hair grease, I'm out.

Sounds like an awesome couple of days. Good luck on the date, if he gets out of line, kindly remind him that you have numerous SG peeps, and some watching of his back might be in order

Nice to meet ya! I hope your date goes very well. The Latin will come back to you quickly. It's normal to forget a little over the summer. If not, I'll help you if you send me some of that government money! Latin is my only marketable skill.
