So Friday night I headed out to McGuffy's to see Lennon play; the show was great. I'm glad I finally got to see her.
I ran into my friend Kristy, and I met rabbiofrock, PunkNiteMike, cutmeup, kellyjanice and her boy Micah, Vectrexxx, and fortysix_and_two there and we hung out together for the night. It was really great meeting everyone and hanging out for the night. I had a really really good night.
Saturday night, I ended up at McGuffy's again to see my friend Dink's band in the band playoffs. Afterward a group of us decided to go to the Yellow Rose. I'd never been there before -- there were waaaaay too many cowboy hats.
It made my heart sad. I didn't stop drinking until around 6 am -- what a horrible horrible idea.
And now for the most important lesson: If you are very very drunk and cannot walk well, odds are you cannot run either. Hitting concrete full-speed and sliding is not fun. My knees are bruised real bad and I tore my hands all up.
I wouldn't mind the pain so much if I'd gotten the injuries in a better way. Like rugburn. That I could handle.
