My first journal entry.
Might be the first of many, might not...

The weekend is dripping by.
It's not been boring, the problem is that it's just not been very exciting.

Had a bit of an awkward moment this evening. I was at a mate's place, watching TV and chatting, usual stuff. Other mate, Stan, excused himself and left while Steve started getting changed and putting on aftershave and stuff. For some reason, this didn't seem odd.
He had been talking all day about how his 'mate from Uni' was coming around later. Turns out to be a pretty lush girlie. Oops.
I did one of those 'look-at-my-watch-and-gasp-at-the-time-even-though-I'm-not-wearing-a-watch' moves and legged it. Thinking back, he didn't make any reference to her and I'm still not sure of the nature of their relationship so I don't think I should be feeling bad about it.

Sought refuge at another mate's but found him only just home from the night before and not in very good shape. I am very jealous.

I am now swapping vaguely flirty text messages with my old boss. She was quite attractive while she was my boss, but I always put that down to my predilection for intelligent women and I haven't really thought about her 'in that way' since I changed jobs. Not sure where it's going.
