today, as a favor to my mother, i offer to help her go shopping for cell phones. she's buying one for my 12 year old brother and basically is totally clueless when it comes to any type of technology. her response to my offer is, "i hope your wearing long sleeves." now, today it is about 90 degrees and humid here. so, i told here there was no way i was wearing long sleeves in this heat, at which point she pointed to my arms and said, "well that looks awful." you'd think by now she would have learned to deal....

I don't think parents ever deal with such things well. My parents still want me all covered up as well...And the look on their faces when I told them my nipples were pierced...You would of thought some one died!!!
