well, i just spent the day hanging out with my ex for the first time in 2 months. you would think it would have gotten a little easier, but alas, it was an emotionally grueling day. it never fails to amaze me how unbelieveably painful it can be to be around the man who was my best friend that i was going to spend the rest of my life with. god, why are men so stupid and confusing? perhaps i will be able to meet a normal guy who won't rip my heart out before i have to formally adopt the spinster title next year.......i'm not going to hold my breath.

I went that route with one of my exes. We tried to be friends again, but after almost getting married, it was a bit too painful for me to deal with, so I, unfortunately had to cut Girl Emily out of my life forever. Sad...
