Hey all.
Been so fucking busy this month. I'm looking at my calendar and realising there hasn't been a single day empty for the whole month.
Obviously I've had days off, but there's always something I'm pre-engaged in! People have to book me these days to see me.
Picking up crazy extra shifts at work, too. Example being tomorrow I'm working from 1pm through to bar close (which will be about 5am), then I'm in on Monday for a 10-10 which COULD turn into a close, too.
My only day off this week is engaged with a doctors appointment and then a dentists appointment, so that's the best part of that day ruined, too.
I'm totally aware that it appears like I'm moaning to fuck, but I got my paycheck from last week in today and it's TOTALLY worth the blood, sweat and tears. Every Thursday when I get paid I just think 'One step closer to Casa Del Glasgow!' (until I go and blow all my money on irrelevant possessions or body mods, that is).
Regardless of the hours I'm working I've been managing my time off in such a way that it keeps me happy, which is nice. Things are falling nicely into place.
I can't wait to get back to uni, right enough. I'm pretty much chapping at the bit for it, to be honest. I've very much one of these people that places the utmost importance on learning and I feel like going into my final year is going to round everything off in a nice way for me. I've gotten this far... surely I can't fuck it all up in 9 months... can I?
My best mate Elaine recently got her first house with her boyfriend. He works on oil rigs, though, so he's here for 3 weeks then away for 3, so it's my job as the devoted friend to keep her company through her dry patches. Going pretty well so far. Just hope she doesn't get cabin fever before I make it back to hers...

Ever tried to take a photo of your own ear? Not as easy as you'd think. But yeah, there's my vertical surface tragus and my tragus, both done yesterday. I love them
