I hung out with my roommate's grad student friends this past Friday, quite an interesting crowd. I spent the whole night listening to drunken banter about genetics and virology and neruoscience. There were kids there from all over the world, and much to my surprise there were several ladies there of the beautiful variety. Some of them are definetly getting the adult swim invite (someday people will show up i swear).

So now that I have some friends in Houston, all I need now is a GODDAMN JOB. Really it is my own fault for not starting my search before moving, but there's nothiing I can do about that now. Point is, I'm running out of money and I'm going insane sitting around by myself all day listening to music and applying for jobs.

Or I could just find some abandoned building to live in and try to hit rock bottom and find out what it really is to be human.

Or go to cooking school.

In the meantime I will practice my Japanese and teach myself mahjong and write long, rambling journal entries.
