OK this is now officially the slowest site on the internet. Now that everyone's pic and info gets tacked onto the top of their comments it takes like 10min to load any page with more than 5 comments, which just happens to be EVERY GODDAMN PAGE. I'm not sure what but something in the code that generates the comments is way, way far from optimized. Guess I'll start using lynx or something.
