I went to the most amazing party last night. About 300 people, a dunk tank, a tent with locg table and chairs to go with them, pro DJ system (95% hip hip though ACK!), about 9 kegs of beer, and even a moon walk thing. Just freakin amazing!

So I came home from Ft Lauderdale and found that the A/C unit on the second floor of my apartment had sprung a leak. The water seaped through the floor and flooded the dining room below. There are large sections of the ceiling hanging in goopy tatters.

I remember once when I was staying at a friends house the room I was given for the night had fleas - really bad, it was really late so going and getting spray was not an option. On the other hand I had this whole McGuyver thing going on so I got an aluminum pie tin, some dishwashing liquid and some water, and a candle. I put the lit candle in the pie tin with the soapy water and the fleas went after the candle but ended up in the soapy water instead where they met their demise. Don't work on eggs, but its a great enviro-friendly way of killing the blood sucking bastards!
