I am sooooo excited!!!! I'm picking up my kitty this morning!!!!!!!!
I went down yesterday to the local kill shelter to get a full grown adult cat. I got just the nicest 2 year old male. He's a black and white American short hair.
He is too cool. I still have to figure out a good name for him unless he actually responds to Mosley which is what he has had.

I'm so excited that I am even up at 7:30 am on a Saturday! I go to get him at 10:00 when they open.

There's a couple of reasons why I went where I did and why I got the cat that I did. I know a lot of people really oppose kill shelters but they are a necessary
evil and they are not going away no matter how you may want them to. By getting my cat at a kill shelter I have saved a life.
Secondly I specifically got an adult because they are the most likely candidates to be put down.
Everyone wants the cute little kittens. They get adopted very quickly but not so with the older ones. The girls at the shelter thought my reasoning was right on the mark.
