This is another update. Not to be confused with the previous update. I would venture to guess that it will be better than the next update...though I am not entirely certain.
So my Mom is going to come and visit this weekend. This should be pretty cool. While I was speaking to her on the phone and trying to make plans it dawned on me: this is the first time in my adult life that she has ever visited a place where I've lived. Even when I lived in the same town she never came over to visit...ever. Much less spend the night like she'll be doing this weekend.
If I had a therapist I think I would probably want to discuss this revelation with them.
