My best friend really knows how to break my heart. She told me how she would just disappear if it wasn't for her probation. And that would barely stop her if she could figure out the statute of limitations. It really hurts to know that a friend you stand by through the worst of times is so willing to leave you behind. I know she's a free spirit and all, but she just doesn't seem to understand how much it is going to hurt me by leaving.
