so, the big Motrhead, C.O.C., Zeke show was on Sunday... for fuck sake was it loud. we showed up at 8ish since the tix said 7 door 8 show and i was dismayed to find out we'd missed the opener... I have no opinion about Slunt but I had heard about them before and was looking forward to this show to form my opinion (maybe some of you were there/know of Slunt to tell me whether I should check 'em out or pass on 'em)... I've seen Zeke numerous times, but they were ON that night... I spoke with Donnie after the show and, unfortuneately, he confirmed that the mighty Camerosmith was dead and done... it made me sad... not that Zeke is anything to sneeze at, but Camerosmith rocked in all the right ways... i knew they were dead, it just hurt a little bit to hear it official like... C.O.C. were great, the girl was pissed they didn't play Albatross but I can't complain for finaly seeing a band I've liked from highschool playing the song that turned me on to them (Vote With a Bullet)... Motrhead, what can I say... so fucking loud that two days (almost three days) later my ears still are humming... Not as good as the show I caught at the Gothic two summers ago, but deffinately a great fucking show... lemmy, phil and mick have brought the old school metal every time i've seen 'em and it's a gooddamned shamed your pussy ass didn't make it to the show... all in all probably the most solid 3 band line up i have ever seen...

As for the marriage thing. I don't think our society has thrown it away. People just take each other for granted. I'd like to think that there really is a special person that will end up being my best friend. THAT special person, that best friend, is who I want to marry. I haven't met her yet that I know of, but I'm keeping an eye out.
