Wow, what an interesting couple of days. Only this time I will manage to go in to a bit more detail than my last entry.
Had a busy weekend. Met up with the book club kids (LilAmySunshine, SmashedPumpkin, Ramby & Lisa) and watched The Virgin Suicides. After that Brandy, Amy and I went and had delicious Irish food at Casey's. Then it was off to the Dark Horse to celebrate SmashedPumpkin's 21'st birthday. I'm proud to say that I bought this girl her first Irish Car Bomb that night.
Sunday saw a good chunk of the SGCO kids head out to The Hornet and then the Gothic for the B.R.M.C. show for SmashedPumpkin's birthday. Good diner, great show, horrible sound. I hear rumors that the regular sound guy is on the other side of the world and that might have something to do with the sound sucking pig testicles that night.
Monday night. Well what the fuck can I say about Monday night. Thanks to what I am sure cost her several hundred dollars out of pocket Lacey managed to coax Trixie and Chloe into coming though Denver on their road trip. And, on top of that, Lacey managed to convince them to hang out with a bunch of internet perverts like us. I'm not one to swing from Lacey's nuts (trust me, they're huge) but I owe her a kidney for bringing my internet crush into my life for even a small moment of geekdom. I had a super time, and I do believe I managed to not make a huge ass out of myself (or at least no more of a huge ass of myself then usual).
Ok, well I've managed to get the event pictures up and now the SGCO kids will give me a moment's rest.

Edited to add that I am the worst friend ever. Special thanks to sKoTt (I owe you dinner my friend) and LilAmySunshine for inviting me out to dinner last night. I totally spaced adding that in since I already mentioned Casey's once in this post.
