For fuck sake I'm in a mood. I'm tired, cold and fucking cranky. Not exactly sure why (Though I'm sure the first two factors are contributing).

The show on Saturday was great. I will say this however to the fine folks at NIPP (Who I can't think of another time I was irritated with so I'm just going to vent it here and move on). If your tickets say doors at 8 and show at 9 don't have your first band start at 8 fucking 30. Due to this mishap we missed all but two songs by Honky. I was supper pissed about this since they were the band I was most excited to see (I know, sacrilege... Don't tell Sam). If southernmetalboogieblues sounds like your cup o' tea then check these cats out.

So, anger over the missed set abated, the night went on and there were many more excellent bands to see. Danko Jones rocked the house with their cock rock meets punk with extra ego show that was a treat to see for the second time, and it would seem as though they converted some new fans.

Next up, Nashville Pussy. Good goddamn this band can put on a high energy show. It was good to see local girl Karen Cuda playing bass for these kids. Ramby was definitely converted.

Last, but certainly not least, The Supersuckers! A great set as always. They are touring with a new drummer, and though I was worried that the set wouldn't be as good without Murderburger on the drums my fears were unfounded. At this point my memories are blurred by many Miller High Lifes but I do know this; Asses were rocked!

So I'm sitting around now with my shitty mood and watching the DVD and it is doing wonders to lighten my mood.

I picked a bad week to stop sniffing glue.
