Well, every concert I go to see upstages the previous one. PRIMUS WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!! I have seen these guys 10 times, dating back to 1989..and this show was absolutely incredible. No opening act, got there and got to our seats at 8:30, bam the lights went down. They played two sets...the first one a mixed bag of oldies and 2 new songs....and ended with YYZ from Rush...played to perfection!! Oh man....then a 20 minute intermission where they played old fifties anti-drug commercials.....hilarious. The lights went down again...and they played the whole Frizzle Fry album.....insane...followed by one encore of Jerry Was A Race Car Driver......just fucking awesome. If you have a chance to see them on this tour..GO!!!!!!
The rest of the weekend was paradise in so cal....killer weather, good surf, just a much needed relaxing time.....finished off with the Lakers winning the west!!! Thats what I am talking about!
