Feeling kinda simple today... its a good feeling. Most of the time I run around busy as shit and never really get anything done. Today is different. Today is one of those rare calender dates that brings me peace, like a 24 hour sip of beer. Not enough to get drunk but plenty to feel the buzz. Rode my bike to work this morning. Its funny how a few months ago I would only see a few other motorcycles on the road. But now, after the last hurricane and the gas prices, I see more than I can count. Which, in its way, is sad because now I'm hearing more and more stories about people getting killed on them. More on the road = more to run over or off the road. To be honest though, thats part of the reason I love motorcycles so much. In a car there is little chance of being killed if you get in a wreck. You might get beat up, but you live to travel another day. We take that for granted. When I'm on the bike.... its horrific freedom. You can bet your ass that every mile behind me is a spiritual experience. And a wreck..... well, chances are you need to keep things right with God cause you'll be visiting him/her soon. Its not unlike a drug.
