What a weekend. I came home from work Friday, was drunk as fuck by 7pm and passed out. However, I did wake up about 11:30pm and proceded to rally for another go at the bottle. I got dressed, hopped on the bike and went to a couple of bars around Birmingham. Couldn't find anyone to hang out with me so I flew solo. Its kinda lonely and kinda cool at the same time. You can just walk into a bar, drink your beer/Guiness/martini and leave without much hassle. By the end of the night I was on top of Red Mountain overlooking the city and having an introspective moment. In bed by 4am.
Saturday I had to leave for Hatiesburg, Mississippi around noon. My band played at a show down there. Not as much pride, but we get paid unreasonable amounts of money which in turn goes to pay for the original recordings. Man, we were on the outer edge of hurricane damage and shit was still totally fucked up. Its hard to grasp how bad it must be closer to shore. Anyway, the band played well and the show kicked ass. Our drummer just bought a new digi camera, so I should (finally) have a few good pictures of my fucked-up mug posted in the next day or so. Maybe then someone will actually look at my profile and comment on one of these fucking entries. Speaking of which, the drummer got laid again. Its seems like every show he gets some ass. Now, I'm not your normal "fuck every girl that comes along" kinda guy, but I'm still a guy. If any girls are reading this, you should show the bass player some love occasionally. we are the ones making you shake your ass anyway, its only fair that we get some attention too. Speaking of which, there's this girl I'm kinda digging lately. The odd thing is that I've never met her... which is kinda neat it its own right. Its amazing what you can learn just reading about someones life.
