it was a wild ass weekend peeps. I had to take off work Friday so as to drive to Clemson, South Carolina. My band played at a club up there which turned out to be pretty awesome. It was the usual routine of raising hell, packing up the equipment, hitting Waffle House and then passing out in a parking lot for a few hours. I definately lead a life less ordinary. Not many people reguarly sleep on an air matress in the middle of a parking lot. It was fun, but there was some worry of getting run over by a car. Anyway, we woke up a drove back here to Birmingham. Stayed just long enough to shower and then hoped back in the Suburban and drove up to Florence to play a show at the University of North Alabama... another place my band has never played. It was a weekend of firsts. UNA's mascot is the lion, and they have two of them on campus. The rest of the band had trouble getting me away from the lion den. I'm obsessed with Animal Planet, etc. Anyway... had a great show up there too. I've been wearing my hair natural lately, which means I have a Afro on stage. But really I guess I have a Cau-fro since I'm a cracker and all that. Anyway, there were a lot of hot chicks at the shows but as usual I was unable to "seal the deal". Its becoming obvious that I'm way too sweet. Some of these girls throw themselves at me and yet we end up talking about kittens and shit. I'm a fucking idoit.
