I thought I was doing so well at this Gluten Free thing... turns out the vegan cesar dressing I've been using on my salad all week has wheat in it. I didn't think to look at the ingredients for the dressing for some reason. So now I'm starting over... yesterday was day 1 Gluten Free, for real this time. With my diet becoming more and more restricted, I've been starting to wonder how I'll ever find a guy that will actually put up with me and my food limitations with understanding and patience. I'm a handful, goodness. Vegan is hard enough when it comes to being able to go out for food with friends, but put Gluten Free on top of that... this is gonna be lame frown

I have a deep bruise or something on the inside of my elbow that I got nearly 2 weeks ago (Friday evening will be 2 weeks). I think I can honestly say that it's the most painful bruise I remember ever having. I have NO idea how I got it because I don't remember ever hitting it or anything. All I remember is that I was climbing, my hands slipped so I fell. I landed fine, not so graceful but still on my feet, and then sat down. A minute later I notice my elbow feels a little sore so I feel it and it's tender to the touch. I was thinking that I must have hit it when I fell but didn't feel it. I thought it would turn into some massive purple bruise the next day, but no... dime sized for like 4 days. I think it was the next night that I woke up early morning just to shift over and used my elbow to lift myself and that was a bad idea. The pain from putting any sort of pressure on it was near excruciating. It's this little spot but it goes straight to the bone. For the first 9 or so days, it was soo tender that even the slightest pressure on the spot would make me gasp in pain and leave it stinging for a minute or 2. Even just having my arm hang at my side and it touching the side of my body would set it off sometimes. It's very, very slowly starting to get less tender in the past day or 2 now and not so easily set off. I had my mom check it out Monday night since she's a nurse and licensed massage therapist and for whatever reason, she must have forgotten what the heck she was dealing with because she decided to squeeze her fingers down the length on my arm starting from the top. When she got to my elbow she managed to hit that spot perfectly and I swear, my arm whipped out of her hands so fast that I think the speed of the reflex surprised even me. It continued to sting for at least 2 or 3 minutes after that. It surprised my mom and she said "If it really still hurts that much after 10 days, you should call Dr * (Acupuncturist)". I haven't been to him in a year, not since right before I left for Europe in April. I went to him a few times to work on my lymph node issue at that time. So I'm hoping he'll work on both elbow issues (tendonitis? and the bruise) and my lymph node. My appointment is for 10am tomorrow morning, and then off to the chiropractor and noon, so I should be in bed now, rather than on my bed watching TV. Alright, g'nite.
