I've been meaning to update this for a few days now, so here it is...

I'm finally done with an age that I feel has stigmas and expectations attached to it! Yay!

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Your hair s getting wicked long.
That picture of the tree that you were talking about isjust one I found onphotobucket. Ihave TONS of trees. I love em. I cam by your journal to tell you about the trees because you had commented on one that I posted on the chit chat thread a while ago. Anyway- I did a mural at one of the places we rented of a tree that looked similar to the one you like with the spirals. My inspiration was the Tree Of Life by Gustav Klimt. I love his work. I know you were saying you liked his stuff too. He's pretty much the bomb. You should look at a coffee table book of his prints and sketches because he has some pretty crazy stuff that he never finished- just stuff he goofed around on. Amazing shit.
I'm pretty sure if I am not mistaken that the Tree of Life was actually done on 5 panels and specifically made for someones diningroom. I forget what they call that when artists are told to do projects for people for money. Anyway- here is a link to look at that Tree of Life if you are not familiar with it. Tree of Life
When I did my mural at the house that we were renting I made tons of those clear window hangiy things that you paint and put in windows so that the sunlight hits them. I bought really cheapy plastic ones of different animals and things and hung them from the branches of the spiral tree. I used metalic paints and made large magic mushrooms in the grass on both sides of the spiral tree. It was pretty sweet. I used blues and purples in the tree and those paints were metallic too. Most kids loved it and most adults thought i was kind of weird in a home on a random wall. It was 4 houses ago. It was the first place we rented in OR- just your average everyday cookie cutter three bedreeom 2 1/2 bath track home. It kind of was odd looking back in retrospect. I love Spirals and Trees and together- wow. My tattoos on both arms are all twisted spirals called luna waves. My chest piece is the same as my arm cuffs- Spirals that interlink. The pendant is beautiful. I should have my friend take a few pics f my favorite tattoos.
Anyway- if you are looking at tees on photobucket use search criteria such as unique tree or weird tee or interesting tree, bizarre tree, crazy tree, twisted tree, and Spiral tree. You will findsome pretty interesting trees.
Anyway- the cool thing about the one you like is that is not tha difficult to recreate on a small canvas. My friend has a spiral tree on her wall in her livingroom above a switchplate. I want it- I love it.
Last month my mom bought my daughter, Ariana 12" by 12" canvas'. She bought her 12 of them. Ariana is going to do all the astrology signs along with the planetary symbolism. I bought her tons of acrylic paints including tons of metallic ones. I can't wait till she starts painting them. She is going to use certain colors on the fire signs, air, earth and water. The canvas' were super cheap- 40% off each one.
