The wedding was hilarious. I had to stare at the floor to keep a straight face because looking at the Best Man directly across from me was not helping one bit. The judge was a funny short man, about 5'4, marrying a "couple" that stood over 6ft (she's 5'11+heals, he's like 6'4 or so). Afterwards, he basically told us to take funny pictures in the courtroom... in the judge's chair, witness stand, etc... The whole evening was really funny. We then went back to their place to pick up the bride's boyfriend (he didn't come to the wedding) and then went out for Italian food... that's when the husband and wife jokes started. Just a fabulous evening.

When we got to the courthouse, I was handed the groom's ring (I was the Bride's Maid), which was ginornous! He wears a size 14... I could fit my pinky and ring finger in it I actually just saw another friend tonight who works at a jewelery store and sold him the ring. Apparently he lucked out because you have to special order size 14, but they just happened to have a ring in that size because someone special ordered it but then canceled.

I'm on the opposite end of that special order stuff. My fingers are so small that they don't have rings in my size (for my ring finger) in the store. I just got a really simple, cheap band tonight to use for my trip (as an attempt to ward off some unwanted attention in France and Italy) and I had to leave it with them to get it resized from a 5 to a 4 1/4. My pinky is about a 3-3 1/2 and my thumb is a 5 1/2 I think. I have little hands, I like 'em
