I think I'm getting sick... well, I'm pretty sure I am. Sore throat, a little bit of the nose crap... yeah, fun I'm a nanny for 2 boys, 2 1/2 year old Nikolai ("Koko") & 8 1/2 month old Mattias ("Tias"). Tias has been sick on and off for the past month, so it's very likely that it's from him. I took my 3 year old nephew with me today and he had a blast playing with Koko. My sister and her hubby moved up here last summer and they don't really have any local friends, especially none with kids, so my nephew, Max, gets stuck hanging out with Mom and Dad all the time and hardly any kids his age at all. I'm hoping this will become a regular thing cause the kid needs some playtime with other kids. My oldest sister was trying to insist on watching Max today instead (Mom and Dad both had to work today), but I was like "No way, Max needs to play with kids his age, he needs this." So I'm really glad he got the chance to play today.

My best friend's 21st birthday party is tomorrow. She's doing a Cinco-de-Mayo/Mocktail party... we have quite a few underage friends... (including myself, but I'm straight-edge anyways) and her aunt is hosting the party at her house and she very against underage drinking, so it's just easier to avoid the drama this way. Max is invited too (I have to watch him anyways cause Mom and Dad are working again). My friend's aunt has 2 kids under 4, so more play time for Max! Or at least I hope so... The older child, a boy, is on the Autistic Spectrum (Asperger's/high functioning), so we'll have to see how well he's doing tomorrow and if he's in the mood to play.

Alright, I think I'm going to get ready for bed. My oldest sister is coming over in the morning with my niece, so I should probably be awake for that... G'nite
