EDIT - so laptop loaded new installed windows! however still hit and miss wheither it will load up, with loads of restarts..

my laptop is either really dead, or taking the piss!
i wana watch porn in my bedroom damit! and smoke fat joints while chatting on msn ....
for a while it's been hit or miss wheither it found the opertating system when it turned on and now i've gone and made it worse by using the system and recovery disks... which did not seem to help at all...
dam acer... just give me a dam windows disk damit...
so basically it doesnt wana boot up anything, windows or the cd drive...
did i accidentely get my laptop stoned?!

maybe you need to feed it some tea... no wait thats a bad idea.. no liquids near the computer... and no smoke either- your theory might be right and you may well have the first case of stoned laptop fever
