I couldn't get to sleep last night. I kept tossing & turning & eventually I gave up & got up at 6am. Ugh... I have my mother in law's memorial service to attend at 10am & my wife wants me to take some pictures. I had to go pic up her death certificates yesterday at the funeral home. One of the funeral directors is a friend of ours & is a tad flamboyant, so I got a hug & a kiss on the cheek from him.
Not much has been going on. My ugly sister in law got a haircut that actually makes her easier to look at than before. Now if she'd just quit talking during movies.
My wife is putting together a package for her junkie brother, who has decided not to come for his mom's service. She's going to fill a jar with ashes from our fireplace & tell him that since he couldn't come, his mother has decided to come to him instead.
The place that the memorial service is taking place at is the assisted care facility that she was a resident at. Everyone has Parkinsons, dementia or Alzheimer's. It should be interesting as will the wake at the Cheesecake Factory. I may post some pics later in the day.
