Well, this weekend starts a new point in my life. So many changes will be occurring.. I am nervous and a bit scared, but I keep reminding myself day by day... only focus on what is present.
So what changes... Well I needed two classes to finish my degree and so over the winter break I took an interim Sociology class (4 weeks condensed course). Finishing this class would leave me with one class in the spring and then, degree completion
Well, the class ended this past Friday and Wednesday I received a call from an advisor that this class wouldn't fulfill those credits, being I had already fulfilled that area before. It would have been great to know this at a reasonable time so I could have dropped the course. I would of had much more time for my family during the Holidays... not to mention the money it took to take the class. So I look at it as another accomplishment and that I had the opportunity to increase my knowledge in another area.
Tomorrow (Monday) I start a new job. I'm very excited to be working for a large corporation. I will have the opportunity to learn so much and do so many things. A new chapter in my life.... as I now will begin to support myself. See, I have been in a relationship for quite some time and I'm now breaking away to live by myself. This week I will also be moving into my own condo, I'm going there with a bed, and a TV, and my personal belongings. It will be interesting as I have no other furniture and minimal things for a kitchen. It will be fun to build my own place, although I imagine it will take some time as things expensive, especially when you need pretty much everything.
Here are some pictures of my new place, it's still being worked on so I don't know for sure when I will be moving in... I guess I hope this week. If not I'll be doing a lot of driving because my current location is 45 miles from work.
I did get my right shoulder worked on some more, here are some pictures of it since the outline. I'm sorry the pictures are the best quality, but you will get an idea and I will post more later once it heals.
Lastly, I do have a new set coming out at the end of Feb. It was taken by Lorelei I hope you enjoy it, here's a picture
