How good was that?
Slovakia was so good it's untrue. After some initial problems on the way there (ie: plane being diverted because there was too much snow to land, followed by a 2 hour wait at the train station in freezing weather and arriving about 9 hours late) we had a wicked time. Freash snow cool house, nice people.
We also got to celebrate new year Slovakian style which involves a Slovakian Tom Jones impersonater in the center of town, followed by eveyone setting bangers and fireworks off in the middle of the crowd and a drunk old man doing the worst break dancing you'll ever see. Obviously lots of drinking was involved and much fun was had by all.
Now I have a huge essay to write and I'm feeling ill.
