Well, I can finally breathe and relax abit ... a bit.
I spent all evening for the last three nights baking a cake, making icing, making fondant and decorating a cake for my sister in laws baby shower on sunday.
I finally finished it. Whew. My original top piece for the cake turned out like crap, so I had to go to plan B.
This was my first time making and using fondant. Interesting stuff.

Now all I have to do this weekend is clean the house, take the boys to swimming lessons, get a new tattoo, have thanksgiving dinner out of town, spend the night at a cottage with sister in law and bro in law (our best friends, and the ones having the baby), go see my mom and get the kids halloween costumes from her, wrap baby gifts, do to baby shower, drive home, pass out for 12 hours at least. Oh man, why do I do this to myself?
