This is just a quick little thing.
Anybody watch MTVIcon tonight? All you Metallica fans are probably either really happy, or really pissed off.
I'm a little of both. I'm pissed off because Snoop Dogg really slaughtered "Sad But True". Avril Lavigne, who went on record saying she didn't know a whole lot about Metallica, got to play a song, and MTV, being the jerk-off's that they are, cut off their NEW song Frantic, just as it was getting damn good.
Now, onto the good. Limp Bizkit, for the second time ever, really impressed me. They took a Metalica song, and interpreted it their own way, which was a decent way. Sum 41 did a damn good job too, especially with the solo. And KoRn, I guess they did alright. Plus the Staind "Nothing Else Matters" performance was excellent.
And the 'Tallica boys did what they did best, and kicked some fucking ass. They haven't lost a step, and Robert Trujillo is a perfect bassist. Alot of passion, and alot of power.

LOL, just kidding dude. I still think LIMP TrISKET can blow balls better than they can play music, but thats just me. I hope FRED CURSED slips in his multi-million dollar bathroom and fall into to a tub of water with his favorite high powered dildo, inadvertantly eletricuting himself. That would be wonderful. I suppose its only fair that the shitty bands of present re-do the legends of old. But man, why only MTV names?? I bet half the fucking people watching the show, only watched to see AVRIL. Fuckin posers, I wanna hear OPETH or Soil Work, or hey TOOL remake a metallica song, now that would be a tribute. BUT FUCK IT What do I care.
