I love boys, but Link stole my heart container. My first Zelda game was Ocarina of Time on the N64. I know all the ins-and-outs of that game. This is the original controller that came with my "Jungle Green" N64 bundle (Toys R Us?) that included Donkey Kong 64. It's about 19 years old, and still works great. And no, I don't play with the rumble pack you sick fucks ;)
This tattoo was the inspiration for my hopeful set "N3rd Girl," due out in August. I found the tattoo design online, but the temple medallions were all fuckered up so I had to alter it a bit for accuracy. The artist was a woman who is as much of a Zelda fan as me (ALMOST). She had a Link plushie that oversaw the tattooing process.
To date, I have played most of the Zelda games. I have Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the N64 (which I've beaten with all items, masks, etc). I have Windwaker on the Gamecube, as well as the Gamecube Collectors Edition that contains all of the Zelda games up to Windwaker's release. I have Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword on the Wii. And of course, the newest gem, Breath of the Wild. I have Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages for the Gameboy, although I liked those the least. I have NOT played the A Link to the Past, any of the 3DS games, Four Swords, or Minish Cap (Christmas ideas? haha), although I hear good things.
I've had a few hippies complement my tattoo that had no idea that it was a Zelda tattoo. "Nice sacred geometry!" they say. Triangles are a very spiritual formation (just ask Pythagoras) but the triforce symbol was actually used by one of the old houses of ancient Japan as a family crest. Interestingly enough, religion plays a strange role in Zelda games. But enough about that. I'm "all tied up" in Breath of the Wild right now, so tah! Hyrule needs me.
