Thank you KoS and crasscary. Your words make me feel better about my situation. I do learn (usually), I just wish the lessons weren't all so difficult.
-----------------------------------

We went out to Annapolis today to see greg and gemma's new baby. What a little cutie pie. They got a babysitter so we went downtown to a pub and had brunch. Then they showed us around the area. They are really pressuring us to buy a house in that area. We rent right now because when we moved to northern VA we didn't know which area we wanted to buy in. The housing maket here makes me puke So expensive and so not worth it.

We question our move here, we were doing pretty good in New Mexico. Life was certainly different there. Slower for sure. I enjoyed my weekend mornings watching the sun rise over the mountains with a cup of coffee on the deck. I sure do miss those desert sunrises and sunsets. It seems that no matter where I've lived I look back with fond memories. I wonder if that will hold true here. It may be that we never move from this traffic jammed area.

Anyway we're supposed to get dumped on with snow tonight. Uh, that's 4-7" for us. Don't laugh at me you Yankees I know a thing or two about snow I'm from BUFFALO!

sleep well all,

Well, I know how you feel... I just moved from Florida to Oregon. Florida was frickin hot, and Oregon has proven to be pretty god damn disaml so far... I am contemplating a move over towards the high desert area of bend Oregon, they get more snow there, but not as much rain... and that is fine with me... this would mean that I would be moving out of my girlfriend's house, but at the moment this does not seem to be too much of a problem, hehe... One thing is for sure, I will not be moving to a city with traffic jams, which seems to be a curse for the IT guy, but.. hey that whole lifesytle does not appeal to me at all... good luck to you.
