For a long time now, Bad Religion has been a favorite band of mine. There are many reasons behind this. They have a great sound and a great message are the main reasons...

Two songs on my mind at the moment are "Faith Alone" and "Infected". Both of which have a sort of love message to them... I just noticed that. Meh, anyway, the first seems to have a message of "Look, you have a limited amount of time, use it. Don't fucking stagnate."

What the world needs now is some answers to our problems

If your soul needs love you can get consoled by pity
But it looks as though faith alone won't sustain us no more

Granted, the song is more focused on being anti-religion, as many of their songs were like at the time. I'm all for having a faith or belief system in your life. I do like the message in the song though... There's more to life than faith in a god or gods. If you need love, don't rely soley on whatever god or gods you believe in. I dunno... It's stuck in my brain right now.

I just freaking love this song... It's one of the few ways I feel that love is truely explained. Depending on how you look at it, it can also be one of the few ways that lust is explained... I hope that I feel this way about someone someday... But only if they feel the same way back. Fuck all that unrequited love bullshit.

I seem to be in a vulgar mood... Anyway, it's bedtime for tomorrow is a full day of possibilities.
