Not too much to report here. Spent the last two days in Portland, attending a company training event. Now I know how to communicate properly and my employees won't be able to use Jedi mind tricks on me any more!
I will be spending the entire week of 4/18 through 4/25 in Portland. This will be good!! I got a screaming deal on a 4 star hotel...and will be staying downtown where the shit is happening! Now I need to research who is playing shows that week. Blondie is a possibility.
The only other, kick ass, bitchin' news is that the Pixies are going to be coming to my home town on Sept. 4!! What a way to kick off the Labor Day weekend! So, I will try and get tickets for that on the 17th. I am still going to see them on April 27 in Eugene and plan to buy a cd of the show after. I guess there is this new service that makes copies of the show while it is going on and then you pick up your copy after the show is over. Why didn't I think of this? I bet they make bank!
In other news: if you follow this link you will get a live copy of the 3/31/04 Stereolab show in Portland!! I haven't heard it yet, but I have been away. I have heard it is a very good copy, right off the soundboard! Here is the link: Stereolab Portland March 31

VH1 is running a "Where are they now"special on Debbie Harry this week. Or something like that. I think it plays again on Saturday. Dunno if they show it in your area but just thought I would let you know. Sorry for a lame posting.
