So. . . . things are going well, other than the fact that my car is in pieces in my driveway! But seriously other than that things are great. I am pumped for this weekend because I'll be sailing! The only downside is that I have to get up at 5am tomorrow to wake my sisters and Holly up to be out the door by 5:30am, hopefully we'll be early enough to avoid bay bridge traffic, and arrive in Oxford, MD by 8am.
I am all kinds of antzy though about my car because it could potentially put a real damper on the trip to NC a week from today.
On Tuesday I was on my way to my bf's house after work to drop of D's medicine (he's epoleptic) and what should happen in the pooring rain!!!!!!!!? My car starts blowing this smelly brown smoke in through the vents and over heating BADLY!
So I pull over and, thinking that I may yet again have a leak in the engine coolant line, pour 3 QUARTS of water in my coolant tank! And it didn't do a thing but make a lot of steam. So I got back in my car, soaking wet from the rain, and called my dad. He tells me to sit tight (while tractor trailers are whizzing by, yeah right) and that he'll cancel his meetings and come get me. So an hour later he shows up and tells me to drive the suburban home so he can take my car. Well I still had to take Damien his medicine so I get into the development that my bf lives in (it holds 10% of our county's poulation, it's huge!!!!) and half way through I am stopped by CRE security and told to turn around because there is an accident! So after my 10 minute detour, I finally rushed in and rushed out to get home only to find out that my car needs the heater core replaced which involves removing the entire lower dash and the console, just to take the old one out, put the new one in, and put it all back together again! It's Friday and the old one isn't even out yet!
Oh well, hope every body has a good weekend!

I hope everything works out for you.... these late night thunderstorms here have been pretty crazy. In my area they are doing construction everywheres. It seems like everytime it rains i see an accident. Last night i saw a car hit the wall and spin out, ended up facing on coming traffic. It was insane.

You can drive late on Friday...or come on Saturday!!!! Even if you don't leave until 10 or so, you'll still be here in plenty of time!!!
