Happy belated St. Patricks Day! (wrong beer I know but. . . )

I spent mine freezing in a horse trailer in Herndon, VA. I went with a friend of mine and her husband to a horse auction where she was trying to sell her horse. She didn't though because she got offered a fraction of what the horse is worth.

Last Wednesday was a bit crazy too. I'm sure none of you are familiar with Solomons Island (where I work). It's a popular summer go-to spot for boaters and there are many different restaurants and shops and museums along the island, also one of my favorite places, the Tiki Bar. Well Wednesday while I was at work 2 of them burned to the ground. The Lighthouse Inn (restaurant) and Bowen's Inn (bar). There were 29 different fire companies there. It was insane. It started at the Lighthouse Inn where an employee dropped a cigarette butt on the wooden stairs and then between the wind and how dry it has been the fire blew over to Bowen's. They shut power down to the entire island and weren't letting anybody on. So I got paid to play pool for 4 hours.

Little crazy story. . . . And I know the beer in the pic is Miller but Eric and I couldn't find a single liquor store in the area so we settled for that.
