SOOOOOOO!!!!! I'm all settled in, and van has proven to be somewhat entertaining. Unfortunately i have like....next to zero friends here so it's kinda boring. I have been walking around a lot though, caught the sea bus for the first time yesterday, that was fun i suppose, for the first 3 minutes. Checked out gas town too, which was pretty cool looking, very old and rustic but with a huge homeless population up past W Cordova...HA! i know some street names. Anyway, i got a job interview on thursday, and one today(Hopeully he pulls through) for a sound gig, and so it would seem that things seem to be working out for me....kind of. School is fuckin intense of late and i've been having issues with concentration. But i think if i just put my brain to it i'll be fine. One more thing thats been on my mind before I go....I had plans to return to victoria when i finish school, but i'm secretly really starting to like vancouver. All i saw before was a huge concrete mass of shit, but now that i've been around a bit more there's tons of cool places and parks. I already found a rad spot just near my apartment on a huge hill to smoke joints. Its completely covered in trees and bushes, and its go a huge opening where you can see the sky and just lay on the hill. Needless to say i judged the book by its cover. I wouldn't mind staying but i have my whole bro/girl-bro-immediate family ( The ones who realllllly matter ) in vic and i dont want to abandon them.. I guess i'll just have to figure it out as i go along. Anyway, homework time.
