Looks like I have a snowballs chance in HELL to make it to the Grand Canyon. I didn't even make it to the half-way point. I would like to thank everyone that has donated. When I started this in January I thought raising the money would be no problem. I sent out almost 400 letters, posted in multiple areas on the web, wrote a cookbook and only 51 people made a donation. Add all that to the fact I lost my job yesterday. Not sure how much more under the bus I can get right now. I guess its how they say "When it rains it pours". Read the last couple of entries for more information. Unless a miracle happens, I am going to go hide in the corner for awhile.
