I'm currently busy training for a spring hike in the Grand Canyon. Yes, you read that correctly! Over the next four months, through rain or shine, I'll be hiking many, many miles--and steep miles at that--to prepare for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Hike for Discovery" a Grand Canyon adventure set for June 3rd.

tee hee. i love taking pics. i kinda wish they weren't of me but i fear taking other people's pics cause i don't want to fail them and have pics that don't do them justice. if my pics don't do me justice i'm not bummed or hurt in any way. so i come up with silly pic ideas and then pass them on.
i just love using my profile pic as a mood ring. i came up with that before they reformatted. and now it really makes things fun.

wow that is sweet making your own cookbook. that would be like if i could use my chosen profession to help people. but at this point i'd just be happy if i could pay the bills making costumes. you rule.
oh yeah...my boss and the expiration dates is one battle i feel no shame in waging. someone's got to keep her incompetent ass in check, and if we get caught like that we would be shut down, besides being sued and possibly endangering lives.
yeah so we are SO INCREDIBLY LUCKY that when we got a surprise health inspection they only looked at out milks, our refrigerators, our machines, our vents and not also our candy and packaged merchadise for sale. we would have been shut down for sure given that the caramels that she had just put in a basket on the shelf were all over a month expired by that date. what an idiot.
