so ive been working at the modern for about a month now. its going ok so far, not as much as a fun crowd as the last restaurant i was in. desserts are quite excellent though, which is what matters right now. in another month or two ill see how happy i am there and decide whether or not to look for a new place. i have a friend who works at del posto (mario batali fame) and she says its really awesome to work there.

relationship-wise everything still sucks for me. every girl i have an interest in either has a bf or fiance or whathaveyou. and it really does suck because i do get quite lonely and have a real need for a companion. hopefully all well right itself soon.
