WOw!, its been awhile. this my first day off in eleven days, grrr. but i had a good time, despite being tired alot of the time.
last tuesday night after work i went to a bar/club (the dark room if u must know) with this girl from work. i like her good deal and flirt with her quite often. anyway, she actually got me to dance, alot, pretty much the whole time we were there, and it was great. my exgf never even got me to dance. im not sure if i was any good or not but she made me feel good about it. sadly we didnt hook up at all but still - a great time!
friday nigjht i went to my 5 year highschool reunion, me and a friend pre-gamed at the heartland brewery by union square first. almost everyone gained alot of weight. it was crazy some people had kids already, alot of people were becoming cops that u would never expect.
saturday i helped cater a wedding in long island for one of the chefs i work with. we all had a good time until about 2am. at this time we realized that the sous chef who was heading up catering the wedding and was the only one staying overnight, left for his hotel with the keys to our rental car. stranding 6 of us in pitch black bumfuck long island. myself and another chef did not have to be in work until 2pm so we just kept drinking and eventually stayed in a friends hotel room and got a train in the morning. somehow the others found the hotel the sous chef was at (around 5am) grabbed the keys and drove back to the city.
last night i hung out after work with that girl again, theyre was a special new zealand event going on at the restaurant and a lot of good wine was going around. still no hookup but had fun. she invited me to watch the england world cup game tomorrow.
and today i finally got to cleaning my apartment. had a good dinner with my parents and wrote up my resume. ohyeah, i gave my job one month notice until i leave, so if anyone knows anything about someone needing a pastry chef/baker in the nyc or brooklyn area - pls pimp me out.
