I really want to update, but all I have to say are a few rants, and well I don't want to rant and rave. I want a happy entry, and while I am content, there have been a few things pissing me off lately.
Luckily Final Fantasy XII has been keeping me sane. The game is soooooooo much fun. It's been eating up (what little I have of ) my life. But I don't care! :-P
I'm also reading Craig Ferguson's book and it is pretty good, odd but good. I'll give a review if I ever finish it. Heh.
My birthday/christmakwanzaka gift from my mom came in. It is a nice digital camera and printer. So who wants pictures? And of what? (no probably not me :-P)
I discovered the other day that my 9-year-old half brother is doing algebra. Now I could be wrong but haven't educational psychologists, child psychologists as well as behavioral psychologists all proven that they do not have the mental skills for algebra at that age. And that is why they put off algebra until late junior high/early high school?
I remember being his age, most kids couldn't even do multiplication table never mind trying to solve for what is unknown. Hell they are of the age that if you tell them there is a monster in the closet that will eat them and their parents won't know it, WILL BELIEVE IT!not that I have said that to him
Stupid MCAS.
When my dad was his age it was the cold war and the kids were competing with the soviets, and again my dad did not learn this stuff for years.
They are fucking up the new generation just like they did mine with the "new math" and "experimental math".
Damnit I said I was not going to rant.
Ok I guess I will leave with one more quick rant-
To the town of Taunton; they are called fucking road signs put them up, and make sure they can be read. A street sign the size of my palm does not work!
