Two book reviews for you thou
Sacred by Dennis Lehane
Good, lots of minor twists. Solid writing but not nearly as good as Shutter Island or Mystic River. If you have never read Lehane (I hope I am spelling his name right) his writing is down to earth and sounds natural. Hell it feels natural. My only complaints about the books were that 1) I didn't know it was part of a series and 2) then ending has been done to death. But that doesn't ruin it. A+
The second book is "The Book of Fate" bye Brad Metzler (again spelling may be off). I only picked this book up because I had a coupon (and got another additional 30% off). The book was decent. And Mr. Metzler defiantly has talent, but unlike LeHane there is something missing, something off. The plus side to it was that I didn't see the twists coming, and they were great twists. But looking back I am ashamed I never caught them. It's a political mystery book, that initially sounds like it will be a rip off of Dan Brown, it is NOTHING like Dan Brown's books (after all Mr. Brown's books I have been able to solve easily and quickly). B
And well really that is it right now.
