Ah, the Hoilday strangeness is gone. The New Year is here.
Good ol' Horkheimer..WHO? The guy on PBS said the new year is marked by the star Sirius being at Zeineth at midnight. Seems like the kind of thing which people should know. A connection to the larger world (Universe) but...Why look at the stars when you can see fireworks and blinking lights and count backwards from 10.
Is my sarcastic grumbling......... I just get so tired of the insicereity. Perhaps it is judst me being insincere. (anyboid want to check my spelling?)
Anyhow, I trimmed the oak tree, which is more of a shrub. Or at least it looked like one before. It is maybe 20 feet tall. Older than it looks. A nice scrub oak. Now I can get in and sit on a scaley old branch and relax. So nice to have a tree to sit in.
