Well had the day off today. I had my work party to go to at noon. So I go out to my car and check on it, because it has been leaking coolant. Open the hood, and the water pump is shot. As they say "Shit the bed!!" So I call a cab. Make it to the party on time. Have a nice lunch, exchange presents with the coworkers. Then I borrowed the bosses delivery truck, so I can do my last minute shopping. I have all the presents I need for Christmas, minus a photo frame or two. I plan on going up to chucktown for Christmas. So I don't need the car, but it is a expense that I really can't afford right now. O' fucking well life goes on. At least the beater did not leave me on the side of the road!!
