Just saw I'm Not There and I gotta say it is my favourite film so far (oaky, the year is over...) this year.
Cate Blanchett (and all the other actors) really captures the essence of Dylan: aloof, enraged, poetic, distant, menacing, confrontational.

Hmm. I dunno any Laval wannabe hipsters, but maybe my problem is actually with scenesters. The kind that are all over a particular scene (literary, in this case), but do nothing to support others within said scene. The kind that will show up to Expozine to hawk their own shit, but refuse to even look at anybody else's stuff, and who will give you the hipster sneer if you compliment them on anything. I'm broke and can't afford to buy other people's zines, but I try to at least go out to events when I can and support my friends' projects. These people are just assholes.
