I have no idea. Actually, I know nobody at that shop except Azl. I just go where Azl is, since I don't really trust anyone else to come near me with sharp things.
We still haven't had coffee. Dag, yo. We should do that, perhaps once I'm done with my assignments?
True, true. I talked to some of the ladies on The Link, and they said parties are important. If you can sell zines at a party (or thing with bands and art and such, a multimedia kind of event), then you have a better chance of getting noticed cus there's less "zine fatigue."
I think Expozine is best if you've already got some exposure and can afford to give your work away for free, cus it'll get new peeps interested enough to check it out and perhaps ultimately subscribe if you're good enough. Of course, if you make zines (as opposed to magazines), you probably can't afford to do that. Hence my complaint.
i got a few people i know in canada would love to travel over there sometime but its new york next time i go abroad. (well possibly france but i dont class that as abroad as i can get a train there haha)
Advice - if you can pull yourself out of bed OR have a great friend rent a season of a show that you've been hearing everyone talk about but never have time to watch. That's what I did when I was home sick last month. I rented Nip/Tuck the first season was interesting...I dunno if it's your taste though. I like Six Feet Under as well but I never ever get to watch it. I just love that it's not all happy go lucky and shit. Most of the characters are "real".
Well, as long as the pattern isn't too weird, you retain lady-friendliness. I only meant simple stripes or argyle, both perfectly acceptable as "sexy man wear." the trick is to keep the colours subdued, else you'll wind up in Herb Tarlek territory.
unfortunatly I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to movies, but that quote from clerks is true, I love being a barista, but I just hate the goddamb customers they kill me!
thanks for the comment!
take care
And if you like that, I also have some lovely vacation property in New Orleans for you, dirt cheap.
(Bitter, with extra spite, please.)
It's much better than Cats.
I will see it again and again.
