Why does SG constantly get it wrong when they try new things??

I HATE THE NEW LAYOUT.

ok, have a nice day all

What do you mean? This only furthers SG's sincere and hardcore mandate to advance women's right to have control over their sexuality!

And if you like that, I also have some lovely vacation property in New Orleans for you, dirt cheap. tongue

(Bitter, with extra spite, please.)
semicynical:
I love it.
It's much better than Cats.
I will see it again and again.

New Montreal supergroup Pas Chic Chic (ex-members of Fly Pan Am, Et Sans, Godspeed! You Black Emperor) are playing on Thursday at Sala.

Dance-y, drony and poppy all at the same time, Pas Chic Chic will rule the world very soon.

Be there or else you know, you'll miss it.
semicynical:
You certainly could.

I have no idea. Actually, I know nobody at that shop except Azl. I just go where Azl is, since I don't really trust anyone else to come near me with sharp things.

We still haven't had coffee. Dag, yo. We should do that, perhaps once I'm done with my assignments?

I've already been up for an hour.
The only thing keeping me from doing laundry is my neighbour who's selfishly still asleep at 5:59am.

grrrr

True, true. I talked to some of the ladies on The Link, and they said parties are important. If you can sell zines at a party (or thing with bands and art and such, a multimedia kind of event), then you have a better chance of getting noticed cus there's less "zine fatigue."

I think Expozine is best if you've already got some exposure and can afford to give your work away for free, cus it'll get new peeps interested enough to check it out and perhaps ultimately subscribe if you're good enough. Of course, if you make zines (as opposed to magazines), you probably can't afford to do that. Hence my complaint.

On the road again

Thank you. That's a kind assumption, but actually Sweet Bliss' scones are better than mine.

Hardly a Rachel. I'm not the one who gets randomly felt up by shopgirls.

The worse part of being at home sick is not the fever, the aches or the pains.

The worse part has to be daytime television; Regis, Judge Judy, People's Court etc.....

Can't wait for the medication to knock me out.
faye:
Advice - if you can pull yourself out of bed OR have a great friend rent a season of a show that you've been hearing everyone talk about but never have time to watch. That's what I did when I was home sick last month. I rented Nip/Tuck the first season was interesting...I dunno if it's your taste though. I like Six Feet Under as well but I never ever get to watch it. I just love that it's not all happy go lucky and shit. Most of the characters are "real".

The Queen city rocks.

How does one wind up with 40 pairs of socks that don't match??

They're all different shades of grey and so am I.

Well, as long as the pattern isn't too weird, you retain lady-friendliness. I only meant simple stripes or argyle, both perfectly acceptable as "sexy man wear." the trick is to keep the colours subdued, else you'll wind up in Herb Tarlek territory. wink
semicynical:
Why, thank you! Glad you like.

And, btw, I agree with kaffeine's sock theory.

Am I the only one here that's tired of seeing that creepy pic of Dave Navaro with the SG hoodie on??

That pic has to go.

The people have spoken.
