Blimey - nearly a month since I last updated this. Says it all really - far too busy for introspection and navel gazing; work has been hectic and fatherhood has been a revelation. Luckily I have weird work patterns and don't do 9-5 so I get to spend lots of time with the little 'un, and we've had some nice weather of late - so it's been lots of trips to the woods and around the more village-y bits near me. It's bloody hardwork but so so so rewarding; every time he burbles or looks around or falls asleep on my chest my heart grows.

Might be a go-er, not quite the kind of wax I was thinking of tho...although probably less painful so that would be a bonus
