Is their any point in political campaigning? An election in two weeks, and everything is pointing to a similar result to the last two - big majority for Labour, some gains for the Lib Dems and the Conservatives finding something to rescue their pride with. I have not heard any arguement on any issue from any side that has made me reconsider any of my core beliefs or value. Using the papers, TV and people around me as a barometer, I don't think it is making any difference to anyone else either - If you have a point of view on immigration, the economy, NHS, etc. it's not going to be changed unless someone comes up with a spanky new way of looking at it.
Oh well, two more weeks then another five years of Labour. After the election it might start to get interesting - When will Blair go (Brown has saved his arse this election and he knows it) and will the Tories finally implode.
On a less wordy note, got my preview tickets for Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy on Tuesday - whoo-hoo!
